Cedar Ridge Camp proudly hosts the Louisville Green School.
Students from Jefferson County Public Schools and beyond explore nature, the environment, culture, and teamwork. Our program offers a variety of classes designed to connect students with nature and foster relationships with one another.
Class Schedule
Students typically arrive at 10 a.m. for a brief introduction in Hopkins Hall. Afterward, they split into groups to attend their first two 45-minute classes. Following these classes, everyone gathers again in Hopkins Hall for a sack lunch. Post-lunch, the group divides once more for their third class. Finally, depart at 1 p.m. for the return trip to school. This schedule is adaptable to meet the specific needs of each school group, with some even opting for a fourth activity during the day!
Program Variety
The program varies throughout the year.
During the spring and fall most classes are related to nature, science and culture.
After Thanksgiving, Cedar Ridge offers its special "Holidays Around the World" program until school lets out for winter break.
Class Picnic
Picnic for up to 100 students. Includes a hayride and a pavilion only. Other activities added al a carte from the retreat group pricing page. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch.
